I have had nothng but hassle from the minute this company contacted me about a non-fault insurance repair. It took 12 working days to replace a bumper and 2 brackets and when I checked it the bumper didn't fit properly. When I queried this I was told that was because it was a non-genuine part! When I have a car repaired I expect it to be done properly whether or not it is an insurance claim. I think it is very devious to put on non-standard parts without mentioning that to the car owner. I would have no hesitation in NOT recommending you to anyone and wish I had gone through my own insurers.
The communication has been appalling and I have been told when chasing up my car that they were waiting for the bumper when I had been told 2 days earlier that the bumper had arrived. Your online tracking system is a great idea if it is actually updated. It was still showing 3rd December on the 8th!
All in all a very unsatisfactory and stressful experience.My accident was at the end of October and the situation still hasn't been resolved satisfactorily nearly 2 months later.

I am sorry you have not had a good experience with us and apologise for any inconvenience you have been caused. We would very much like to look into the issues you have raised so we can at least ensure that everything has been completed to your satisfaction. It would make it a lot easier to trace your repairs if we knew your registration number and the centre that you dealt with. If you are not comfortable with putting the whole registration number on here then the last 3 digits will be ok. I have just spoken to the manager of our Birmingham centre and he has explained the situation to me. We were instructed to fit a non-genuine bumper to your vehicle by your insurance company as they would not authorise a genuine bumper due to their policy on fitting genuine parts. You should have been made aware of this by your insurance company. It is the Insurance companies who make the decision as to whether or not genuine parts are fitted, it is not a decision we make as a company. I understand we have already collected your car and have agreed with you to fit a genuine bumper, however, at the moment we have not had any authority from your insurance company for this so it will be at our cost. We acknowledge that the non-genuine bumper was a couple of mm's different to the genuine bumper and therefore did not fit as well which is why we have agreed to do this for you. The manager is hoping to personally deliver your car back to you tonight so he can ensure that you are completely happy with the new bumper, which I am sure you will be. We apologise for any inconvenience, which we have tried to keep to a minimum for you. Thank you.
