I failed my car MOT in august 2016 with National Tyres & Autocare. I was quoted a price to replace the 2 shock absorbers of £440 pounds: this on top of £89.66 already paid online for the MOT and the oil change.

I got the same job done (replace the 2 shock absorbers )plus a second MOT with a different registered garage for £176.81 plus vat.

This was all covered by an invoice plus vat in both garages.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you didn't find our service offering value for money. All of our supplied parts are rigorously tested and have excellent guarantees, which some garages may not offer. However, we do realise that on occasion that we may not be as competitive on pricing and in this instance we offer a price promise whereby we beat the price quoted for the same parts and fitting locally. I will pass your comments to our pricing team for consideration.
