i booked in for a clutch fitting when i got the car back there was a knocking noise that was not there prior when i looked under the car there was a wooden block between the housing and sub frame and new oil from the drainage plug on the gear box . when i reported it to maidstone branch they got me back in i showed the photos that i had taken of the block of wood and oil leak . i left them to inspect the car when i came back the car was done there told me about a leak at the back of the engine that it not down to them but wipped down the clutch housing and claim there is not a leak there and removed the block of wood
but the manager/person the i saw at the branch was quite rude and did not offer any form of apology and after this i felt quite disapointed firstly with the service was not up to standard then secondly the customer service provide at the branch so i contacted the main head office at strood and spoke to the customer service dept there. i expained what had happened and the responce that recived atfer she had contacted the branch and phoned me back after about 2hr she stated that the manager claimed the he had apologised for the mistake and she apologised for the inconvinence but stated that the maidstone branch is a francise and if i wanted to pursue it further i would have to take it up with the branch owner when all i wanted was a writen apology by the person reponsable .i feel this was a very reasonable request as i have photos and been understanding that it was a mistake easly made but to get the responce that i have made me feel that they was only intrested in retifing the mistake and not on customer relations and satisfaction .i will not be returning to mr clutch at maidstone again and will be following it up with trading standards as it falls into inferior work undertaken
