Got an online quote for a clutch change at £299. Pretty good I thought and was well aware I may need a new dual mass flywheel too, though was probably going to do it anyway, car has 138k on it.

Obvioulsy they will mark up parts prices so I asked that if I supply the DMF will they fit it at the same time as the clutch. I could get an LUK item at a really good price elsewhere.

"Of course" they said so I booked my car in. Had call mid-afternoon to say the car was ready. My bill...........£299, they fitted the DMF at no cost.

Clutch feels spot on, just how it used to be. Got my old DMF back and it was worn.

This was Mr Clutch near Gatwick.
