I had a problem with a noise coming from my clutch at low revs with the clutch depressed. I phoned Mr Clutch for advice and was told a new clutch was advisable. Total cost £519.99. I accepted their diagnosis and agreed they could under take the job. Within 3 hours of them having my car i had a phone call telling me i needed a new Dual Mass Flywheel. He then informed me it would be an extra £450. I asked why? Because i told them the problem i had and why didnt they take that into account when i asked for a quote? He said he didnt know if my car was fitted with a Dual Mass Flywhell until they had taken the gearbox out.I said put the thing back together and i'll go elsewhere. He then got nasty and said i would have to pay for the labour for taking the car apart. After a deep discussion i said do the job you quoted me for. To cut a long story short. I collected the car (Still with the problem). Decided to take it to a proper garage for repair only to find out the Mr Clutch had messed up the clutch completely and it cost me another £800 to get everything put right...Would i use Mr Clutch again?? Never...Would i recommend Mr Clutch to my worst enemy??..Never...Would i tell the world and his dog to steer away from Mr Clutch?? ..Everytime
