Bournemouth Castle Lane Center failed the MOT based on two leaking shock absorbers. Often a small leak can be an advisory whereas this was a fail, which meant the leak must have been significant. They quoted £380 inc Vat. Took the car to the council MOT center and they passed it. Not even an advisory of a leak.

It's always best to have your MOT's done by a unit that doesn't carry out repairs - they have nothing to gain by falsely failing your car.

Unlike Kwikfit and other large chains who use the system as a work (and profit) generating scheme.
