They tried to charge my wife £330 for one tyre when she went into the branch on her own. I was put on the phone and haggled them down to £260 on the Monday. When I noticed that another tyre had a puncture a week later they again quoted my wife £330 but by the Friday I was able to haggle them down to £230. You might as well pick a number out of a hat and certainly don't let your wife go in alone, they prey on lone women!
Apparently the wild difference in price is due to different regions. The problem is; both branches were two miles apart. When this was pointed out the area manager said it was down to store managers discretion. I would avoid Kwik Fit at all costs.
