“Brakes failed after new brakes fitted.”

Recently had my vechicle fitted by Halfords with new brakes. I was assured that the brakes were fitted properly and I explained that I was going away on holiday, so I wanted to be sure the vechicle was safe. However four days later on holiday the brakes failed and I crashed into a car. Luckly enough no one was hurt, however I was in a mountainous area and the police explained that if we had been in the mountains when they failed we could have died. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. Please go to a reputable garage.

OMG, what a nightmare, hope everyone is ok. Have you been in touch with Halfords?

i also changed my bmw e60 breaks with them and now know these were cheap stuff and car computer keeps on telling me that these are about to finish despite changing sensor cables. Told by another garage that these are cheap one and actually ahve not put the bmw ones they promised. It cn be very risky. Donot know how to complain as it can be risky for people if things go on like this.
