“Avoid, use proper garage services.”

My car was booked into the Cambridge branch 2 weeks before it was scheduled to go in for the required work. Less than 2 hours before my car was due in, I received a telephone call informing me that the supplier had sent the wrong 'cats' for my car. The work was rescheduled for 5 days later and I drove it to the branch. I was told that the work would take up to 90 minutes to complete but just over an hour later, the salesman informed me that the mechanic had broken 1 of the sensor probes getting it out, couldn't get the other 2 and had only managed to remove 1, rendering my car undriveable. Having paid out for the probes, I was informed that my car would be ready to collect 4 days later (due to the Monday being a Bank holiday). I phoned on the day advised only to be informed that the mechanic then had to seal the probes, and it would take 12 hours to cure. I finally collected my vehicle the following day and within 2 days of driving it, my check engine light illuminated informing me that there was a problem with 1 of the new probes. How could the job possibly have taken 90 minutes initially when the sealant needed to cure for 12 hours? On top of this, the salesmen continually misgendered me in telephone conversations between myself and the Cambridge branch and "to rub salt into the wound" my dash-cam recorded the staff using Transphobic speech when referring to me. I contacted the the Director who informed me that he was going to look into the matter and was apologetic. Assuring me that the matter had been dealt with locally, it was suggested that I take my car back to the Cambridge branch to have the work rectified. There is no way that I can return the vehicle to Cambridge when my very existence as a Transfemale is openly ridiculed by the staff at the branch, and I was given incorrect information about the work required from the outset. To put the icing on the cake, I had to replace my car battery. When the car went in it was fine, when the car came out the battery was wrecked. Avoid this company like the plague.

“STAY WELL AWAY. ”

Booked in here for new pads and discs and two new tyres. They fitted my pads and discs but then I was told they had a problem getting my tires. After waiting two weeks, I asked for a refund and told them I need new tyres ASAP. I was told that wasn't a problem and my refund would be granted. Two weeks later and I am still waiting. I keep phoning and am told the paperwork has been sent to head office and I should get a refund soon. When I asked for head offices number to make a complaint, I was told they don't accept phone call for complaints! I have still been offered no solution and no refund. I truly believe they are hoping I forget about it and they can keep my money, many reviews on Google say the same thing. Kwik fit changed my tyres the next day, I can highly recommend them.

“Car went in for 3hrs - they kept it for 69 days!”

My recently MOTed and well-kept car went in for a simple clutch replacement (3hr job) and they kept my car for over 2 MONTHS! They made up lots of excuses, didn't have the tools to do the job, kept finding new things I had to pay for once they'd taken the wheels off (so I couldn't go elsewhere) and were rude. During this ordeal I had to literally source the part they said I suddenly needed and then chase them up to get it, just to recover my car!

I had to pay close to £650, plus all the costs I accrued having to hire a car while they wouldn't give my car back. Going to Concorde has cost me over £1000 and lots of sleepless nights.

They haven't even had the decency to offer me compensation. Disgraceful.

I was very impressed with my visit to Concorde in Peterborough. I had my brakes and suspension sorted and the price was outstanding for the brand of parts I received. Reception staff were very polite and the process was smooth and the work did not over-run. What more can you ask for?

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

I needed to get the 2 cars in my household serviced and MOT'd so after searching on Google i found Concorde Auto Centre and the prices looked competitive so I gave them a call, I was quoted a fair price so i booked. I was then asked to pay upfront over the phone for this (which I massively regret doing). Before even running my cars through the MOT's I was told I needed new break discs, pads and 4 new tyres (even though they looked fine to me). I was also charged upfront for these jobs. They had my first car for 2 days with no communication only to be told after calling them several times that they did not have my tyres in stock and the supplier would not drop them down and they had no idea on when the work would be complete. So I had to walk down to them, collect my car to get the work done myself (which I had to suggest). I took it 5 minutes down the road and had 4 new tyres fitted within an hour at a cheaper price. The receptionist spends most of his day apologising about refund delays, incomplete work and waiting times due to being overbooked (I know this as I spent many hours in the waiting room). You are given a specific time slot but often will wait hours more than the quoted time that your car will be ready. I then waited and had to call constantly to get the refund for the incomplete work, which eventually got refunded one month after the initial payment. This is the most disorganised car company I have ever come across, I'm amazed the company still operates as they must rely on repeat business to stay open. I will avoid this company at all costs in the future. If my car were to break down outside this shop I would literally push it to the nearest garage away from this place.

“Constant delays and calls rarely returned ”

We are now 5 weeks into what I was told would be a 4 day job and I am still trying to get my car back from this bunch . I chose this garage because they assured me that working on my Japanese import Toyota would be no problem. The work required on the engine would take just 4 days as they had already got the parts in. (After I had paid almost £4000 in advance) After 3 weeks of delays and excuses I was finally told that the engine could not be repaired and would need to be replaced even though on more than one occasion they informed me that it was nearly ready and just waiting for a missing gasket. At the same time they found out that their supplier had sent all the wrong parts anyway (for my nearly ready engine). Of course they cannot replace the engine as they would not be able to provide a warranty. Now after 5 weeks I am still waiting for some kind of refund , my car is still in pieces and I have been told that even though I drove it in it may not run after they have put it back together. . Avoid this garage like the plague. Never trust what they tel you and be prepared to keep phoning them because unless they want money they sure as hell won’t be calling you when they say.

I absolutely agree with your experience. 4 weeks of not calling me & promising by 'end of the day' my car would be returned has left me exasperated. I have just had my car returned £800 later & the same warning light is still on & my car is still in limp mode.Do not be fooled by the charming chaps on the end of the phone. They lie and lie.

Good helpful staff, competitive prices, quite fast despite a short hold up because a part took a little longer than expected but this was a supplier's fault. Concorde kept me informed every step of the way and explained it all over the phone. Would be nice to have text service for updates without answering the phone

Recommend this company to all my mates and family, honestly so glad we have one fairly close by. Saves the heartache of going elsewhere and them messing it up. Other places can be cheaper for servicing but DON'T BE FOOLED. Most places don't do proper servicing and then if your car goes wrong you'll be stuck in the middle of a fight between manufacturer and garage for who pays for the damage.. concorde are one of the only places to do scheduled servicing so you know if anything goes wrong it's actually insured!! Peace of mind so valuable!

Great garage, always had nothing but good experiences at MK and Leicester when i used to live there. The team has awsome technical knowledge and knows what they are doing. Never any trouble with trying to swindle me at all. Staff explain exactly what needs doing and why, so a lesson in how cars work always thrown in which is nice!

I'd like to know if this garage would check my Toyota Previa before they do any work on it, as have been let down by previous garage? They still haven't fixed the problem.

They will charge a diagnostic fee (£30 last time I checked) to have a look and will consult you about any problem they've found and what course of action needs to be taken, make it clear to then that you 100% don't want any work done until you're happy for it to be done and they won't do. They are really flexible and will help you out any way they can. Hope that helps!!

I agree with wickedgenius. I've never used them for such repairs but always do for anything wheel/tyre related. Always found them very helpful and fair. Always happy to recommend them. Good luck,
