Only downside was waiting time for an appointment which must mean they have many happy customers to be so busy. Extremely good service though as I received information constantly giving me updates of the time the repairman was going to arrive so no having to wait in all morning and then not have him turn up. When he did arrive no problems gave a quick and efficient repair though as this is his job prob very experienced so shouldn't expect any other. All in all very good efficient service (read more)

“Addiction to Cracked Wind Screen”

Well I was getting addicted to the cracked wind screen. The crack was expanding often in a linear fashion. As the first appointment had to be rescheduled, it gave me more time to study the ever increasing crack pattern, now upwards almost like the Shard. This story has a tragic end. The AS nice young man came in time, replaced the windscreen in 45 minutes and cured my addiction. What a relief? Thank you Autowindscreen (AS). (read more)

He then rang to advise us that as this was urgent (MOT due) we could take it in on Saturday morning and they'd work on it. Just had to let you know - the service we received from Auto Windscreen was second to none. From the operative making the appointment to the repair technician, the customer service was ace!!! The technician called ahead of time in order that we meet him as we had to park our car overnight in a garage for safe keeping. Windscreen replaced efficiently with no fuss by a very competent and cheerful operative. I'd like to have said "prompt" but he arrived more than an hour and half after the end of the hour-long window promised earlier in the day, and outside the morning session originally notified. As it happens it wasn't a great inconvenience but could have been. No criticism of the operative, probably beyond his control, but it's not good customer relations. (read more)

Reported 2x chips in windscreen via insurance co. who arranged Auto Windscreens to repair. Repaired while I was off-site, upon inspection 1 chip had been incorrectly repaired (still very visible) and 1 was untouched. Further the windscreen developed a crack originating at the semi-repaired chip. The fitter phoned me on the morning of the agreed date to let me know his t.o.a. He was on time and finished in under an hour. He was professional, skillful, proficient and knew his trade, even performing a small repair to the trim under the window screen wiper trim when the old screen was out of the car. Very happy with the service I received this morning, had a time slot of 9-13.00, and the man came at 9.00, with a phone call at 8.30 to let me know he was on his way. When he started it only took him 30 mins to fit, he was friendly and helpful on the advice he gave me on to not wash my car as I had planed for 48 hours to let it set properly. I had requested an appointment late in the day so as not to disrupt my working schedule, I was told I could have the last appointment which would be around 5pm.
