I bought my 2nd hand fiesta in July for £8000 but had to call dees of Croydon as the buttons on the steering wheel don't work to answer my mobile. I had to wait 2 weeks because they were busy so it eventually went in last Friday 14th. It was picked up by dees and then in the afternoon I got a call to say that they can't do the repair as they have to order the whole system as it doesn't come in seperate parts, I asked how long that would take and was told about a week and did I want to leave the car, I said no because I want it over the weekend. I was told they would call when the part arrived. Today the 20th I rang as I hadn't heard and a young girl who wasn't sure what to do said she would get whoever to ring me back, I asked if it could be before 12 as I had to go out. 12.05 I rang back as I was waiting for my daughter to pick me up and this girl said she never got any message but would call me back when she knew the answer. I said leave a message as I'm going out which she agreed. Huh, no call so when I got in and rang again I was put through to the workshop who after 5 rings hung up so I rang again and the operator said she would walk over to her desk and find out what's going on. She came back and said it was being chased up and the girl would call me when it's in, I said would it be another week and the woman appeared to snap back 'well you have until tomorrow' so let's wait and see. As it's under warranty it shouldn't cost me anything. good job I didn't leave my car there and the part probably wasn't ordered. Why does the customer have to remind them to chase things up, also a phone call from the person who sold me the car to see how it's going would have been nice, it's called customer service....
