I took my car for an mot in feb 2012 and new that some work needed doing but when it failed on something i did'nt expect i wanted a second appinion.It failed on omissions,badly.

They told me to take it to a garage they use who specialise in this and they quoted me around £400+ to sort the problem.I decided to take it to another garage for my second appinion and they retested the omissions to find there was absolutely nothing wrong and could not work out how they managed to get such bad readings.

Luckily im quite young and had time for a second appinion,but if i was older and was'nt sure i would have lost alot of money,maybe even my car when it should have passed!DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR AN MOT,USE ONE YOU CAN TRUST!

To malkyboy1983's response,yes you can,you did! And if that fails you rev the hell out of the engine! Max 2000 revs if that,terrible company!
