Has to be said that the initial experience was exceptional however soon as the account hit some problems money barns methods of correction were nothing short of horrendous.
In march 2013 my family and i suffered a house fire that completely destroyed the family home and due to this i requested could we get a payment break for a month and was told point blank no even though i had all relevant documentation to support this was a genuine reason .
in october 2013 i broke my collar bone and being self employed this put me out of work, after 6 weeks i had a collection notice for the car in question after several calls and emails money barn instructed a collection agency to recover the car even though i explained i was awaiting cash that was tied up in my company within the following 2 weeks ,i fought this action right unto the point it was collected even waving the outstanding cash balance at the collection company on the day of collection begging them not to take the family car however they could do nothing as Adam Cook (money barn ) had instructed them to do so at any cost !!!
then in may 2014 i get notice saying even though id paid nearly 10 k off the finance and they recovered the car and sold it on i was still owing them over 12 k these figures just don't add up sorry ,at this point i called them only to be filled with yet another pile of bull **** !!! i therefore referred this to the financial ombudsman and even though money barn are aware that this is currently under investigation they have now gone and put a marker on my credit report before the final outcome of the investigation from the financial ombudsman..

I would tend to agree with this.. All show to get you to sign up then the dont give a toss attitude kicks on thereafter. Nieve good feedback people have added to say initial experience is good, course it is you passing back excessive APR but you wont get any help from them thereafter!!
