MY RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH CONCEPT

I am reasonably happy with the service i recieved from Concept.Although my credit history didnt show a ccj i did have a default for £65 which affected my credit record.
Also although i am a managing director of my own company a lot of companies wont look at you until you have a minimum 6 months trading.
Concept sympathetically looked at this and agreed a deal on a VW Touran 7 seater which is ideal to my requirements coupled with £250 cashback because i wanted a vehicle with a towabar.The car also came with 12 months mot.
My advice is go there...be honest...stick to your guns and what you can afford.
Also be prepared to be there a while as it isnt a 2 minute thing...i arrived 10 am and didnt leave until around 2 pm but there is quite a bit of paperwork.
At the end of the day they are taking a chance on people that carry a level of risk so they need to be sure and it was you that put yourself in your credit risk category and not them.
I love the car i purchased and with 50+ mpg economy this car will more than pay for itself compared to what i had.
Also its critical i have a good reliable presentable looking car for when i visit my clients premises and thats exactly what i got.
The only reason i gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because initially i was told on the phone there was no deposit but on the day i ended up paying £100 but i belive that was to bring me within my finance limit.
The other thing im not so sure about is they use the PASSTIME system so if you dont pay your monthly payment they can shut your vehicle off until you pay but you get a few days grace on this so my advice is make your payment or ring them if you have a problem.
Consider it a PAYG go so each month you top it up and then in 3 years its yours.
On the day i was told dont worry PASSTIME isnt a tracker based technology but then was told by another member of staff that in fact it actually is.
Dont get too annoyed at this like i initially did because if it ever gets stolen they can track where the vehicle is and also the other benefit is my insurance company actually gave me a discount because it was fitted.
They know this because when you get your cover they ask what protection your car has and if it has ANY MODIFICATIONS which it has once PASSTIME is fitted.
Once you pay for your car you return it to Concept where they will then remove this device and by then you may be ready for a new car so there you go !!.
Pay them a visit...stick to your guns.....make sure you get the deal you want......check your vehicle out and test drive it....finally be patient on the day because it does take time but trust me its faster than buying a house (just not much)
