I took out a warranty wise policy costing £368.36,i was told if I paid this over 3 months they would give me an extra month,if I paid this over 12 months they wouldn't give me the extra month,so I took the 13 month option,and basically paid up front,wrong,when I part exchanged my car into a dealership they said it wasn't transferrable,and they don't do refunds,because I had a claim,ive lost 6 months of my warranty money down the drain ,next time I wont be paying up front for anything,be… Read Full Review

“Don't pay up ”

Have a pay as you go warranty as it is easier go pay monthly than one lump sum. Car needed new front Caplier. Spoke to warranty wise who agreed the claim, however they paid me 37 pounds instead of over 300. Yes that's correct 37 quid. Why? Well it seems as I'm pay as yo go and having paid full year premium they have chosen not to pay my claim but simply one months premium. “Try every trick in the book not to pay!”

Bought a car from a dealer. They supplied a 6 month warranty. Drove the car around no problems for a couple of weeks, then it went into limp mode, so basically couldn't drive anywhere. Called warrantywise, to be told i have to pay for the Diagnosis, so was not best pleased. Garage found a fault with the EGR valve. Filled in the forms and the garage sent them off. “Do Not Use Warrantywise”

Warrantywise are two fold. They are nice and friendly when they want your money, putting forward all the pros for using them and seeming like a professional outfit with Quentin Wilsons name over everything, but the minute you try and make a claim, they change and could not be more unhelpful. “Having bought my wife a small Toyota Yaris also good...”

Having bought my wife a small Toyota Yaris also good for my daughter to learn to drive in, we had a few issues with the heating. Called Warranty wise and they said to take it into a VAT registered garage for a diagnostic report. We took it to Toyota as they are experts on their own car and duly paid £72 for the report. We were sold this warranty by the dealer when purchasing the car and assured that any problems in the 1st 3 months would be fixed free of charge. Our first problem was finding a garage in the local area who would even deal with Warranty Wise. I've only been with them for a short while thank god and cancelled my subscription asap when they refused to cover a problem with my gearbox saying because it was an electronic problem it wasn't covered under terms and conditions although this is not mentioned in exclusions. Hi, most disappointing experience, my car broke down ( gear box), quite expensiv repair! Warranty wise send “independent examiner” who did not provide a single fact, refused repair just on opinions like: might broke down becouse , could be because, gear box suffered some sort of failure! Please be aware- you might think that you have peace of mind until you get to claim from them, then this is what happened. I have sent my car for gearbox repair at Audi Watford main dealer they replaced part of gearbox all good when a claim was made guess what REFUSED they are stating that its not covered as not mechanical nor electrrical part" Spoke to Audi and they confirm that this is mechanical part gone back again and spent hours on a phone and guess what i did not reach… Read Full Review

Do not take one out cancel!!!!!!!!!!!! They will never pay.....they use the weasel small print to weasel out of it. The dealer I bought my car from supplied a Gold cover policy which sounds good, in reality it's not, if you read the small print they can always find a way of not paying, there's no piece of mind with this kind of warranty, either take a main dealer one out or don't bother., all the hype from having Quentin willson support it sounds good, does he care not likely only on how much… Read Full Review

“The cover is ok, but don't believe all the sales pitch”

I do not expect an insurance product to be perfect, but nonetheless I have been a little disappointed at the actual service compared to the adverts. I took £1100 of cover on my X5 and specified a local garage (my usual) at £60/hour instead of 'main dealer' cover. When the rear air suspension collapsed, it took a day to have the problem diagnosed and have the claim reviewed (but "sorry, that doesn't qualify for car hire- its a 1.3 hour repair" and when the garage were able to obtain the part… Read Full Review

Totally rubbish service, Never use them. Save some money you can use the money you spend to take the policy ti repair your car when it breaks down. I took a Sivler policy with add fetures which covers engine works, last week my car got problem with EGR valve and when I rang Warranty Wise and told them about it the lady said yes my policy covers for the repair so I need to take it to a VAT registered repair center and ask them to give a call back so they can start the paper work. Not much....they agreed to pay £150 from the total bill of £450. Not happy but accepted it. But never gonna renew once the policy expires.

I was sold a policy with Warrantywise by a motor dealer who said that they were good (no doubt he was on commission), having driven the car for 2 months we heard a funny noise from under the bonnet with smoke and a plastic smell, turns out to be the aircon pump. AA took it to a garage and the car has been sitting there for a week now and we're without transport. Bought this warranty for a peace of mind. My car was had a light coming on the dash board. Took it to Volvo and they had a nightmare with warranty wise. They approved one of the repair and then they declined it. Volvo had to fight with them because they approved it and then they wanted to declined it. “They Never Approve the Repair”

When you want to Buy,,,, Nothing Like Them, When you are in trouble and make a claim... They will ask all the service invoices, Service Book..etc etc and fulfil all the other requirements, then they will send send independent mechanic (So Called) to find out any point to decline the claim with odd reasons, like part has worn out, its not covered.
