I've only been with them for a short while thank god and cancelled my subscription asap when they refused to cover a problem with my gearbox saying because it was an electronic problem it wasn't covered under terms and conditions although this is not mentioned in exclusions. “Worst experience ”

Hi, most disappointing experience, my car broke down ( gear box), quite expensiv repair! Warranty wise send “independent examiner” who did not provide a single fact, refused repair just on opinions like: might broke down becouse , could be because, gear box suffered some sort of failure! Judging by the letter hi did research of most common gearbox failures!  Hope this will help you in the future!… Read Full Review

Please be aware- you might think that you have peace of mind until you get to claim from them, then this is what happened. I have sent my car for gearbox repair at Audi Watford main dealer they replaced part of gearbox all good when a claim was made guess what REFUSED they are stating that its not covered as not mechanical nor electrrical part" Spoke to Audi and they confirm that this is mechanical part gone back again and spent hours on a phone and guess what i did not reach… Read Full Review

Do not take one out cancel!!!!!!!!!!!! They will never pay.....they use the weasel small print to weasel out of it. The dealer I bought my car from supplied a Gold cover policy which sounds good, in reality it's not, if you read the small print they can always find a way of not paying, there's no piece of mind with this kind of warranty, either take a main dealer one out or don't bother., all the hype from having Quentin willson support it sounds good, does he care not likely only on how much… Read Full Review

“The cover is ok, but don't believe all the sales pitch”

I do not expect an insurance product to be perfect, but nonetheless I have been a little disappointed at the actual service compared to the adverts. I took £1100 of cover on my X5 and specified a local garage (my usual) at £60/hour instead of 'main dealer' cover. When the rear air suspension collapsed, it took a day to have the problem diagnosed and have the claim reviewed (but "sorry, that doesn't qualify for car hire- its a 1.3 hour repair" and when the garage were able to obtain the part… Read Full Review

“Rubbish service, Avoid at all cost”

Totally rubbish service, Never use them. Save some money you can use the money you spend to take the policy ti repair your car when it breaks down. I took a Sivler policy with add fetures which covers engine works, last week my car got problem with EGR valve and when I rang Warranty Wise and told them about it the lady said yes my policy covers for the repair so I need to take it to a VAT registered repair center and ask them to give a call back so they can start the paper work. Not much....they agreed to pay £150 from the total bill of £450. Not happy but accepted it. But never gonna renew once the policy expires.

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

I was sold a policy with Warrantywise by a motor dealer who said that they were good (no doubt he was on commission), having driven the car for 2 months we heard a funny noise from under the bonnet with smoke and a plastic smell, turns out to be the aircon pump. AA took it to a garage and the car has been sitting there for a week now and we're without transport. “Wear/tear”

Bought this warranty for a peace of mind. My car was had a light coming on the dash board. Took it to Volvo and they had a nightmare with warranty wise. They approved one of the repair and then they declined it. Volvo had to fight with them because they approved it and then they wanted to declined it. Volvo found another issue with my car and I spent few says without car because warranty wise wouldn't contact volvo. “They Never Approve the Repair”

When you want to Buy,,,, Nothing Like Them, When you are in trouble and make a claim... They will ask all the service invoices, Service Book..etc etc and fulfil all the other requirements, then they will send send independent mechanic (So Called) to find out any point to decline the claim with odd reasons, like part has worn out, its not covered. They charged hundreds of pounds from me and left me for 4 weeks without car and decline the claim, car is in the garage and now i have to pay double… Read Full Review

“Avoid Warranty Wise warranties if you want to change car”

Now I am a reasonable and well balanced kind of guy and understand the basis of financial products, but experience with Warranty Wise has left a very bitter taste. I bought a Jaguar XF Portfolio (top of the range) from a dealer and they instigated a 3 month 'Bronze' warranty with Warranty Wise. I am still with Warrantywise and intend to keep the 10 year old vehicle, a SKODA OCTAVIA 4X4 1.8T ESTATE, we have the top policy available! They just made a complete hash of a basic claim for a starter motor, implying the AA were not sufficient as independent assessors, I implied that the latter could probably buy them out! We followed the rules, they seem to think being without a car for a week for such a basic item, is fine without a hint of apology and offended our local garage owners so much they will not deal with them after this claim is completed. I have had to canvass other garages now to find one to deal with them, car now needs repairs to rear diff', not likely to be a 'stroll in the park' is it? I am writing a complaint directly to Quentin Wilson but the car we are about to buy, we need 2, is going with AA Warranty as advised by our garage, it means the 2 cars will be serviced etc by different garages! WW need to get realistic about customer and garage needs or they will just get swallowed up. We are stuck with them for now but unlikely to sign them up as they are, in the future!
