they managed to make everything way more complicated than it had to be and just simply failed on every level when I became a customer. Currently on hold to them again as they don't seem to look at documents sent by email to the address they advised to me to use. Most recent issue is getting a letter as they haven't received a payment which is isn't due and haven't updated their records from the documents previously sent. took out a motor trade policy with them send copies of everything required over and over then got the policy went to amend address and got charged £80 you have to spend all day on the phone and most days nobody answers ,i complained when i got through only to be told 20 mis calling each time is not enough ,some people have other things to do beside ring the insurance factory all day,i bought a £25000 car and my cover was for 2x £10000 cars so i called and tried to up my policy for the… Read Full Review

I took my car insurance policy up with the insurance factory last April. They asked me to send my log book to them which I scanned and emailed over, to which I had no reply. I sent it a couple more times to make sure there were no mistakes my end. I still had no reply. A couple days after I recieved a letter saying that they were going to cancel the policy within 7 days if they did not recieve the information they required. i cancelled my policy using the 14 day cancellation policy after them asking for bank statements which I did not agree with. Despite using the cancellation policy which I have a right to, I now have to wait 4-6 weeks to get refunded the money for my deposit. Rude staff members when contacting customer service. I was insured with lionheart insurance for years and was more than happy with the service. This year came and i was xalled from the insurance factory for my renewal explaining they had bought lionheart out which is fair enough so i started my new policy and thought that was it but oh no. This company has made two days of my life awful. I did a comparison check and they came up the cheapest. After being asked all the usual questions, I paid my deposit and was told I was insured. They requested my wife and I's driving licence codes, of which I had to send many times. I received a call the following day, by what seemed to be the rudest person ever spoken to accusing me of fraud for not telling them of 3 points for speeding. “Hidden terms- DO NOT USE THE INSURANCE FACTORY”

The insurance factory has to be one of the worst insurance companies for hidden terms. I have only just taken my car insurance out with them, I paid in full an annual fee for the year so that I didn't have to worry about money going out monthly. I had saved the money up knowing my insurance was due, and believe me, it was NOT cheep! you spend ages listening to the on hold message before you get to spread to a human. Simple change of vehicle took an hour NOT TO COMPLETE as they then said the current insurers wouldn't insure the new car and no refund of premium even though there is 9 months left on the policy. The operator kept going off to ask - more on hold. I have never ever come scored such a set of incompetent cheaters - its this company that give insurance a bad name. “Trade Motor Policy”

Steer Well Clear! Easy to get a policy, but awful to maintain one, they use policy plan who continually sends cancellation notices, because data not received from the insurance factory. Hold time can be upto one hour, don't believe what you are told by staff member, some good some terrible, they all seem under a lot of pressure; probably due to stressed policy holders who make 45 minute phone calls to get through!! “Caused nothing but stress”

I insured my car with Insurance Factory Jan 2015, and I have just cancelled my renewal with them, ending my policy next week (Jan 2016). This company have caused me nothing but stress for the past 12 months and my first year of driving. I were involved in a non-fault accident in July where my car was written off. I recommend you stay well clear of this company! I received a quote of £506 for my car insurance with 6 years in claims I sent my no claims in twice on each occasion they said they hadn't received them, after my 2nd monthly payment they doubled my insurance without telling me until a payment came out in the end I cancelled the insurance and now they have sent debt collectors after me for £404.60 they had already received over £200 pound off me this company just wants your money so please… Read Full Review

When they offered me a very uncompetitive price to change vehicle, and added on further admin fees, I told them I would be forced to cancel my policy and start a new one elsewhere.
