“first time drivers worse nightmare”

Do not take their first time drivers insurance. They are poor communicators and if you have an accident which isn't your fault they will not support you. 11 months after taking insurance. Another driver wrote off the car, instead Of helping they claimed that when the black box was fitted the engineer noticed a sticker in the window which is a modification,therefore my claim was void.
My question I if the engineer noticed a sticker(car bought with this) and reported it to them why did they continue to take my money for 11 months. Surely they should have voided the insurance then- so avoid! Reported them to Financial ombudsman. Found several similar instances online with them.
