My insurance was going to be due on the 19th May so I shopped around and found an insurance quote for over £60 less than Tesco. I phoned Tesco to see if they could match it and they couldn’t so I said I would go elsewhere. I didn’t cancel any direct debits as I had paid in full on my debit card when I had originally taken out the policy. Although I had made this call and cancelled the continuation of the policy in to the next year they took it upon themselves to take the £440 off my card anyway. When I called to complain I was told there was nothing he could do and I would have to wait to speak to a manager. I don’t see why as it doesn’t take a manager to refund my money as they had taken it without my consent!
