I was hit in the rear when sat in traffic lights, The damage to my car was mostly internal boot floor, a little on the bumper and boot will not close properly, 3rd partys car was not damaged much , was shocked, 3rd party accepted liability also his insurance did,
Now tescos came out and inspected my car and had a phone call after 3 weeks from the accident to say to me that they will not take my claim on as i have exaggerated the damage? There inspector recons that the 3rd partys car could not have caused the damage that i decribed above? I was shocked, So has anyone had this problem what is the best way to fight my case need help..................

Hi,
I sympathise with you. Never had the problem of them not taking a claim on, but that it took in excess of seven months to get my car back.
I eventually did get it sorted and then took it further with the FOS. I would suggest speaking with them, but there is laid down criteria for them to act on and you will need to have registered a complaint with Tesco first and given them eight weeks to respond. Don't hold your breath for that either, after ten weeks they wrote to me and said they needed more time to investigate my complaint!
