I have been with Tesco's for 6 years now, originally from a new driver I was quick to pick them out of the croud of other insurance companys. They have always been good value and have claimed resently claimed after someone went into the back of me. I reported it straight away and was asked a few questions. I did suffer from wip lash at the time. I had a call 10 mintues later from a car hire company (all included) and sorted my hire car staight away, they also could bring it to me in the next day. Someone came to assess the damage to my car 2 days later and it was taken away to be repaired that same day. I had a call from the linked solisters 'Cogent Law' who were very friendly and conutiued to help me with my case for a number of months. Tescos kept in contact regually and updated me through the post often. The driver was trying to blaim me for the accident orginally but soon changed his mind as my solisters were hot on the case fighting for my claim. Pictures and evedince was sent to the third party regually from my solisters and after 5 months I won the claim. I didn't have to pay my excess which was £450 as when my car was seen to the garage said it was impossible that I caused the accident with the damage my car had, and tesco's was very understanding and weved this straight away. I have no problems what so ever with the custmer services recieved from tescos.
I also brook down 2 weeks ago, I called the number for 'green flag' which goes through to tescos a very helpful man comfirmed a few details with me and the postcode and told me they would be with me within the hour, bearing in mind I was in Lincolnshire and I live in London I didn't have a clue where I was. A friendly man came to my resue 15 minutes later and helped me with my car battery. In the end it turned out I needed a new battery and he let me follow him to the nearest halfords. Use came in with us and helped choose the right battery and then got us 50% off with his trade card. Was such a helpful man and tescos even rang me to see if everything was okay. I find tescos an amazing service to be with and would recommend them to anyone.
