A month before my motorcycle policy was due for renawal the saleman was on the phone to me.

First, the cashback scam, renewal goes up by 125% and he comes up with a 20% discount and a cashback deal to make it cheaper than last years premium.

This is a con, you pay up front and they give you your money back after 90 days if you call the cashback line. In other words to get the policy you must loan them interest free your money!!

Second, don't trust the sales staff, if you agree to something like breakdown cover, you'll get it but in addition they will try it on signing you up to additional policies for personal accident etc you did not request and you will have to call them up to cancel each one of them.
They give you 30 days free cover but, if you forget to cancel them then you will be locked in for a year.

Thirdly, big fees, £50 cancellation, adjustments are £25 for any of their policies.

Fourth, their website is designed to persuade you to buy extra policies you don't need by making you jump through hoops.

My advice is to avoid them like the plague.
