I took car insurance out with Sheilas wheels in March because they were offering me the best deal.....on the surface! In reality they are just a money grabbing thieving bunch of unsympathetice idiots!

They cancelled my policy on the 12th April because they hadn’t received my proof of no claims discount, despite the fact that I had sent it. I was told over the phone that I had been sent numerous letter regarding the matter, along with emails and texts. I only received one letter at the start and then one dated the 18th April. And I received an email on the 2nd but nothing else. I was told I couldn’t re-instate because it was more than 7 days after the cancellation, when in fact it was the 7th day I called so really the staff are giving misleading information and its actually 6 days. I decided to go with a company that I felt gave a better customer experience and have recommended friends and family do the same.

To add to my dissatisfaction, on the 18thApril (6 days after they cancelled my policy), they took a payment of £37.32 from my account. Why, after cancelling my policy are they taking more money? I thought my deposit of 70 odd pounds covered that?

I’m under no illusion that the company will take any notice of one person being upset with them, however I’m sure I am not the only person who has found the service to be, quike frankly, shoddy and very unprofessional. I certainly wont be bringing my business to them again.


I would rather walk than drive if it meant i had to get anything with them ever again!
Don't touch them with a barge pole!
