Been with SAGA insurance for all my policies for a number of years, car, buildings, contents etc. First claim on home premier contents insurance for accidental damage to a machine kept in my garage in over 10 years. Reported incident and SAGA insurance refused to send out a Qualified assessor. Made 4 formal complaints over 5 days since the incident, no action and now I find out only the last compliant one has been logged. Hence, I believe false record keeping has occurred. Even forced the lady making the claim to tears!

The customer service reps IMHO deliberately and maliciously do everything in their power to block claims and put barriers up to make the process as difficult and stressful for the customer in my experience. So the Customer gives up!

The effective message from the all the customer reps and senior managers is; Get lost, sort the problem out yourself and pay for the repairs and inspection/assessment yourself then we will take delight in refusing a valid claim.

NOT THE way to deal elderly customers!! My recommendation is to VOTE with your feet and NEVER use SAGA insurance! When a event happens and you need to claim you are likely to be treated in the same way!

That is GET LOST, SORT IT OUT YOURSELF is the likely result.
