“Zero Service, they don't gove a toss!”

Requested to transfer vehicles on existing policy at 10am 12/6/14, waited all day for underwriter to call back, at 5pm and 5 calls later told to wait overnight with no insurance and someone would call next day. Asked to complain to supervisor and told none were in that day, but one would call next day. Also told that I would be charged a cancellation fee if I wanted to cancel and go with another insurer. “Easy and Simple”

Easy company to use, their phones could be answered slightly quicker but then again I always call around lunch time when it's busy! Other than that the staff are friendly and will help you out as much as they can if you are struggling with a payment. Overall simple company who I am happy to call if I ever have any questions, to them it seems no question can be a silly question. Oh and also they are cheap for young drivers! RESCUE MY CAR INSURANCE AND THERE COMRADES CLOSE FINANCE This company Rescue my car insurance acts as a broker; however they use the comparrison web sites like go compare to get business. All seems well when you book online; and pay your deposit. Then the funny stuff starts. Letters arriving demanding proof of no claims bonus. Late postage of your certificate of insurance. “Disappointing renewal quote!”

Been with them a year - no problems or claims so cannot comment but my renewal was only £20 cheaper and I have no claims and moved to a very secure premises with underground locked car park... Want to go to another insurer but now worried after reading reviews of the no claims certificate stories on here! “complete liars”

I used them web sites to do a price quote, rescue my car came out cheapest, they phoned me 8 times or more I told them before I buy I am awaiting my new licence to come through with my new address on it, it takes 4 to 6 weeks according to the DVLA and the advisor once again said yes its fine to still buy insurance, even a team leader said it was 10 days later i am given a letter stating show licence or we cancel insurance within 7 days, they are liars, and customer service poor, I… Read Full Review

We had a car insurance with Rescue My Car for a year. Luckily, we did not have to make a claim, but once our insurance expired, we went for a different insurer as they offered a better quote. i took out a policy last week and not yet had my insurance cetificate through the post only a letter saying that my documents are on their way, also my policy has not been registered on the MID database thus making it impossible to tax my car! useless if you ask me.

I had a very minor incident with another vehicle and it's taken almost 6 months to resolve. Despite what I've read on another website, they palmed out my claim to not one but two third party claims handlers who sent letters saying that I hadn't informed them of the incident when I had involved this broker on the day of the incident and in the end I was getting letters directly from the third party solicitors when all this should be dealt with by the insurer. They are digitally aware and have pulled out all the stops to make signing up for car insurance and dealing with them easy and fast.
