I am with quote me happy and for the last two months they seem to be trying to take funds from my account as and when they feel fit. Last month they took two payments in one week. You can't get hold of them for a start! I had to phone the claim cline just to get the email address because try as I might I could just not navigate to it via the website! If you are phoning to make a claim, the first call is ok, however, after that, if you can't ring Mon-Fri 9am-5pm then forget it, as the lines are closed. I've just moved address and tried to update this online. They wanted to charge me £219.36!!! This is completely unjustified as I'm now a home owner with my car parked in a garage in an even nicer area than what I was living in before. Just wrote a complaint email to them. If they still want to charge me, I'm going to change insurance providers. It would probably work out cheaper. (read more)

bought my sons car insurance from this company sent his proof of no claims as requested [fax] even got a thank you then got another rquest for his ncd sent again twice this time to make sure they got it. Talk about rage against the machine. I have spent the last two hours trying to get a quote for an additional car with exactly the same insurance details from Quotemehappy. Do they make this easy? You can only contact them online, unless you're making a claim. Otherwise you'll never get to speak to another human being and you're faced with cold email responses. Quotemehappy are adamant they sent my renewal notices to my Hotmail account, emails I never received. Yet, when they sent the email saying they'd automatically renewed my insurance because I hadn't said not to, that email went to my Yahoo! account. Having made a 'no fault' claim they tell me it's been settled without advising me that they have decided I'm apparently at fault - no discussion or notification. I've now just renewed (couldn't be bothered to shop around as it was cheap), paid early so I could re-tax before the end of the month only to find they haven't updated the MID - tried everyday for the last six days. my premiums were paid through my parents bank account. QMH cancelled the direct debit reason being that policy holder and bank details did not match. changed direct debit to my bank account but had to make the missed payment on line. been trying to do this since march 23 but wont accept payment as says card details incorrect. i have tried 3 different cards and still wont accept payment. have emailed them 24 times and had 24 replies but not one tells me how i can pay this missing premium. the... I got a quote from quote me happy in January, the problems soon started flooding in. I had read that it was a internet only website and had taken that into advisement. But from that i did not think that they would be that they would just ignore you when ever you tried to make contact. Quote me happy are a terrible company. Having sent proof of ncd's about 4 times we were informed each time that there was a problem but not stating what the problem was. This company habe caused nothing but issues whilst sorting out my NCD. It seems that they cant manage their way out odf a wet paper bag. Not user friendly and its a struggle.to make contact with them.. And after a week of emails they still are unable to get information corrsct. Found this company to be the cheapest car insurance for me on moneysupermarket.com. Quotemehappy gave me the best deal but wouldn't accept my certificate of no claims. THey threatened to cancel my insurance unless I uploaded. You may get a cheap quote from this company, however, it is online only and if you need to make changes this is where you hit problems. It does not allow you to make the changes even though it shows you how to, so inevitably you have to go via customer services who then charge 30.00 to make the changes for you. do not use this company if you can afford a couple of quid more to go with some one else, the hassle just isnt worth it. I was in a collision, and my car needed repair. It took almost 3 weeks for my car to be picked. Upon return my car was having issues, I spoke to QMH who advised that I use my money and time and get an independent mechanic to say it was incident related,and only then will they consider it. I was offered a great quote which I accepted. I uploaded proof of NCD. They would not accept the proof as one of many vague things was wrong but nothing specific. I was in and incident earlier in the year where a gentleman reversed into me. I claimed as not at fault. Yet quotemehappy suspended my NCD. Yesterday my policy ended. They are near impossible to contact. Emails take days to receive a reply and when you do the person who replies has not answered your question, meaning you have to send another email...and so it goes on. I cancelled and was charged £53. I did the work to cancel it. They claim they keep costs down by not having an expensive call centre yet think that is a fair charge to cancel. Please avoid, not worth saving a few quid. (read more)

Had a claim for a minor accident (first ever in 20 years)and contacted them within 1 hour. Didn't get a hire car in spite of paying for cover. Took 6 phone calls and 2 weeks to get them to arrange for the repair. Then 7 weeks later they sent me a letter saying I had failed to report an accident in spite of having the repair done weeks ago. I took out car insurance with them last year all was fine till I had an accident on 17th Jan. The car was collected by the repair garage but I wastold I couldn't have a curtesy car because Quote me Happy had not authorised it. I went with Quote Me Happy last year their quote was the cheapest over all. This year the quote almost doubled so I e-mailed them but had no response so I cancelled the policy. I had a bad experience with quotemehappy. I had to return my car to the garage and cancelled my policy with quotemehappy (QMH). I had paid for the policy using two different credit cards. In these busy times , does everyone know when everything they are use to renew is up for renewal, maybe either the ultra organised or people with loads of spare time. Quote e happy don't send you a paper 2-3 weeks before renewal, then send an email which ends up in your junk mail, so you don't know it's there and then just take the money out of your account and renew and as in my case send you overdrawn. Cheap and cheerful, not likely. Not only did we have the usual grief with uploading NCB proof, but their site never wants to let us into our account and following a crash we have now been driving round in some tiny Toyota Aygo matchbox sized car for a fortnight. Their customer services is appauling and only provide the basic information so if you have more in-depth questions answered you will not get a reply or have to wait 24 hours which may not be acceptable depending on what you want to ask. I agree ,they are completely useless.I uploaded my NCD bonus certificate with a date on it and they could not see a date. Because I took policy through Confused.com I held them responsible for totally unreliable insurance company in their search list, they have agreed to investigate this issue.
Each email I received from QUOTE ME HAPPY contradicted previous email indicating left hand does know know what right hand is doing.
QUOTE ME HAVE made it clear to me if I don't pay extra dosh for the NCD bonus certificate they can't understand they will cancel the policy.

Its extremely frustrating trying to make contact with this company about anything other than an accident claim. There is no support number on their website, and if you press the "contact us" button it just presents you with a series of questions in an attempt to answer your query with a standard paragraph from the FAQ section. Please be warned however much cheaper the insurance is from Quote me Happy I would advise you not to use them. When I took out the insurance it ran from the day I took it out instead of the start date which meant I was breaking the law by having two insurances at once on one car. My father was today stopped by the police for having NO insurance but upon checking the money was taken and now tryng to get the needed paperwork within the 7 days needed is being a nightmare. They did exactly the same to me, wouldn't accept ANY of my previous documents as proof of no claims, for what reason was unknown. I spent a fortune with them in a matter of weeks including the £80 cancellation fee!! Bad news.
