The only issue I had was having to ask if my NCB was accepted but they got back to me quickly and said it was fine. Webaite is excellent with Facebook login and excellent layout. I was sent a renewal for my wife's car which I unfortunately paid. I have then been asked for proof of NCD which I stated if they sent it to me I would send it back to them. They have somehow managed to set up two policies for the same car, and charged me for both. Because I could not supply proof of NCD They have cancelled the second policy and charged me approx £80 for their incompetence. I had an email from quote me happy to say my car insurance policy had been cancelled with no explanation and after being accepted two months ago!! I phoned through the claims department (they are an online car insurance company) so that was the only way I could find out what was going on as the email response takes 48hrs+!!! This is the worst company I experienced in the last 25 years, it is impossible to contact them. I received an e mail from someone and I sent her 10 e mails and she didn't reply. Very rude people. I made a complaint to Aviva insurance and they didn't reply either. Absolute bad company. I had an accident 6 weeks ago and still waiting for them to reply to my e mail. If you insure with this company thinking the quote is cheapest hope you don't end up in a smash, blame or blameless. It is near impossible to contact this company who send you generic emails, ignore you and will basically treat you like something attached to the bottom of their shoe. Even when I tried to cancel the insurance at the end of the year they auto renewed and charged me for the privilege of leaving only to ignore all attempts at getting them to supply pncd to my new insurers. Customer service is awful! There is no way to speak to an actual person, the only way to communicate is through their online form. They canceled my policy after 1 month and charged me £53 for the privilege, all because they weren't happy with the no claims bonus I sent them, which was on headed paper from my last insurer! So i got a quote from Quote me Happy and they were far less that their competitors, I searched for reviews and came across this site. I noticed all the bad reviews but stupidly thought, surely they cant be that bad, they are part of the Aviva group after all. Yep, I should of listened to the reviews. “Approved repairer”

Used for 3 years without complaint. Trouble started when I was unfortunate enough to make a no blame claim when my car was damaged whilst unattended. Contacted Quote me happy who informed me that they would remove the Car immediately to their reputable approved repair centre where it was to be repaired to a high standard. vehicle removed and a period of 3 weeks was given as the time to complete repairs. Searched for reviews after I bought a policy to start within a month (instead of renewing with my current provider). They refused to accept my proof of NCD because it was not a cancellation letter from my current insurer (I am not going to get this until too late to keep continuous cover on my car!). Quote me happy when originally searching gave me the cheapest quote. Being 22 I got insured on a Volvo and six months later I changed my car to a 2.0l BMW I had no problems with quote me happy I had to pay a small fee due to the car being newer, more expensive, bigger engine and was given a reasonable price. My daughter has her car insured with this company and recently bought a new car and attempted to change the car on the policy but like many other reviewers of this company she got the message that they could not insure her new car. I had an insurance policy with these, with my fiesta zetecs. Midway through my policy, I changed car to an st. They quoted a price through comparison websites before I got the car, yet when I tried to change the car on my policy, they wouldn't insure it. They promise a £40 discount for multi car insurance but then refuse to give the discount even if you follow the advertising AND terms and conditions exactly. The gotcha is that you have to use the specific £40 Multi Car discount link on the "My Account" page - which doesn't exist! I made a mistake in taking up car insurance with these. I was told to upload my NCD details and this I tried to do but failed and I was constantly told that I had failed, and threatened with insurance cancellation. On the 15th December 2014 they did indeed cancel and then they charged me £58.00 for the privilege of doing the cancellation. Did they refund you your money after cancelling? I've paid a year up front and the same thing is currently happening. Just worried they wont give me my money once they cancel!

I think qmh could save themselves some money by getting rid of their customer service team for all the response you get from them. My initial enquiry was acknowledged promptly and led me to take their advice of cancelling my policy and start again because the system could not identify the new car that I wanted to transfer existing policy onto.
