My name is Jason Marshall and I signed up with Quotemehappy about a week ago on returning to the UK from being abroad for three years.
After paying for the full policy upfront they then decided to inform me they did not accept no claims discount with more than a 2 year gap. On requesting to cancel my policy they decided to charge me a £26 cancellation fee despite not making this clear at the point of purchase.
I also requested a phone number to contest this, but all you get in return are stupid template emails one day later refusing to call to remedy this and suggesting you forget your no claims, start from nothing and pay almost triple your initial quote.
So I've cancelled my policy, paid a full months cover for only a week and will be contesting this in small claims. Quote me happy have no customer service and are a bunch of cheats. I'd hate to think how they'd honour your policy in the event of a claim. Never again.
