8 years a customer but never again.

I have been with PO Money insurance service for quite a number of years but will never return. I have just changed car from a Toyota Rav4 to a smaller car and so called to change the insurance, I am a 55 year old driver with over 9 years (I have over 25 years without a claim but all insurers seem to give up to 9) no claims but the existing underwriters would not give me cover for this new car and after a search for an alternative underwriter the best the PO could come up with was £449 with £250 excess, the original cover for the Rav4 was £229, anyway I called another broker and with them it is £249, £100 excess and also included Legal cover and protected no claims, to now add insult even though they could not come up with a competitive quote the PO are charging me a £51 policy early cancellation fee,this fee is charged by the PO not the underwriters, I guess loyalty to the PO means nothing to them, I would now advise anyone looking for cover to have a good look around as there are certainly better insurance brokers than PO Money.
