Can I warn anyone considering insuring with this company to be very careful. Having chosen my motor insurance and made the payment, I was asked to provide the usual evidence of licence, no claims etc Unfortunately realised I wouldn't be able to provide written evidence of my 9 years no claims history as the company I used to work for has gone.I decided I had better stay with my current insurer who had accepted the 9 years at the time. I immediately tried to cancel with One Call and find out there is a £49 fee to cancel. This is before I have received any documentation. So big warning, there was no mention of a fee until after the payment had been made, too late for me to do anything. All of this well within the cooling off period !! Complaints have gone to the company but initial response is basically tough! Next stop Financial Ombudsmen and anyone else who will listen. Trying to get through on the phone is virtually impossible. So warning, easy to make a mistake and book with this company. Very unethical. £49 for an email! I really would recommend going to someone who really does provide a proper service.
