Had my insurance for 9 months before I cancelled it as I sold my car. Was told I was not entitled to a refund as I had cancelled even though I paid upfront for 12 months. After a lot of phone calls ( I was not able to get through due to them having a new phone line installed) and emails, I was told I was indeed due a refund of £195.
However, I have to now wait 6-8 weeks for this as their head office is based in MALTA!!!
AVIOD THIS COMPANY - Quick to take your money but not as quick to issue a refund, and even then you have to argue your case.
