Household Insurance - KB6 refers!

My rating has to be read in conjuction with the fact that this review relates only to taking out a new insurance policy and not with reference to a claim. Because of that, the overall rating is given for the procedure of taking out household and buildings insurance only.
I was confused because I thought that I was taking out a policy underwritten by One Call Insurance - and this was not the case; One Call is a broker albeit they deal with any subsequent claims. In fact, the underwriter is one I had decided against due to their bad reputation in dealing with claims, but I was reassured that all claims are dealt with the broker.
I was disappointed that I had to pay an additional fee to have a 'hard' copy of the policy; I cannot abide reading policies that have to be downloaded and printed off by the consumer. This is one major grouse about this company that I have.
However, the person I dealt with was very helpful and appeared interested in my circumstances which mirrored her own in some areas.
In the event of a claim - which I sincerely hope does not occur - I shall submit a further review to give a rating on what is the most important aspect of an insurance policy!
