Awful company

I took out cover with a broker not realising it was with markerstudy, never will I just jump for the cheapest quote again, the advisors are friendly-(well most of them), but I have had fully comprehensive cover and my husband was named driver on my policy the car was involved in an incident and is a write off...1 month later I still have no car and am nowhere near close to settlement apparently my case has been passed to underwriters who I cannot speak to directly and who keep saying they have not received paperwork from my broker...surely they should be more organised it's been a month! I really am at my wits end have already wasted around £35 in phone calls trying to chase this up and I have a newborn and young children and bad weather coming up, there's no compassion just money making and their mottos are all a load of rubbish they don't treat you like a person it's patronising. I regret not staying with my previous insurer, I admit that the incident was our fault but surely that is the reason for paying fully comprehensive cover they should value their customers I have been so stressed out about this and I have a newborn to look after I really want it sorted but after looking at the other reviews I'm wondering how long I will have to wait.
