I was fully insured with them. My Motor Bike was stolen from London and despite of them having all of what they needed from me. I waited for 4 months and still waiting.

Yamaha R1 2006 Limited Edition Kenny Roberts Edition

My policy is like for like no matter what I paid. I got a bike cheaper because I bought it from my good friend and he just wanted a good home for his lovely bike.

But after 4 months they turned up and said they will only pay me for standard bike. and they will not pay more then £4000 (because that what I paid my friend).

non of the standard bikes are less then £5000 and they don't care about their own policy.

Now I am going through internal complains procedure and the to legal ombudsmen.

If you are insured or thinking to get insured with this company think twice. with this company no time to be honest.

I will go to court and if I have to go to media I will go to media to bust the policy.

I tried that last week (29th May 2014) its useless.
No one answers the phone. I sent an email no response back or a letter to say they have received my complaint.
I also requested the Guide they used to price my motorbike. They promised last week they will send me by email in 48 hours. And its now 1 week nothing.
This company is making millions by using genuine customers like me, they are using this loop hole in insurance policy system.
Guys we must stand together. I am requesting you all who have suffered a loss please reply. I have set up a facebook page for all the bikers in UK & Europe, who will post their stories on facebook search for MotorbikeTheft page.

I am going through exactly the same experience with Marker Study. My car was stolen 7 weeks ago now and I am still waiting for them to forensically analyse my keys. the whole thing is an absolute joke, in 7 weeks I am yet to receive a phone call from markerstudy and urge others never to insure with them.

Its been 6 months now and no response. i have also gone through internal complains procedure. which apparently they told me will take max 4 weeks and then after 4 weeks i was told 2 more weeks.
I canned Citizens Advice Bureau and they advised me i have a right to go to court i don't have to wait for their decision.

but these people are pros and they play with our legal system. and i am scared of going to court. i also tried to contact financial ombudsment and they said they cannot do anything unless MarkerStudy will not respond.

God help me.

Today, its been 10 months and I am going through Financial Ombudsmen to resolve my issue.

These people should be prosecuted and every managerial staff should be blacklisted to work in insurance sector in future...

They also messed with my Excess money. I am going back and forth with Express insurance and Marker Study.. Be care full with these 2 companies now... for sure I know..
