unbelievable

After taking out car insurance with lady bird i receive a lett in the post to say they want an extra £325 because of an undisclosed accident. so i phoned up and they said i had an accident in january.

What they are refering to is, i was sittin in my lounge when my neighbour over the road reversed off her drive and bumped my car leaving a small dent. she sorted everything out for me and i didnt even have to tell my current insurer as it was nothing to do with me.

So for this lady bird want another £325.00 off me!!! for something i didnt even do!

i didnt even class this as a claim or acciendent, its just rediculous.

I had to cancell my claim because i couldnt afford the extra, so they have charged me £50 for cancelling because its apparently my fault, also will keep £100 for the 2 and half weeks i have been insured when the whole cost was £450 for the year!.

OH and they tried to get another £180 off me by saying i had only 3 years no claims when i had 4. only till i phoned it had been miss typed!!

But they were more than willing to threaten me by letter to cancell my policy and loose all my money if i didnt pay within 7 days!!

Absolutly discusted with this insurer. how are young people ever meant to get by when we go to work n all the money gets taken by rediculous car insurance companies.
