Iv recently purchased LV car insurance and was quite happy about how competitive they were ! I have just sold my car and phoned up to cancel the policy ! I have got the terms and conditions and it does state that the company charge £40 cancelation fee ! But why is there a cooling off period ? i thought the whole point was like anything else you have 14 days to cancel with no charge ? I have just paid £40 and a charge for being insured for 9 days ! My last insurance company 1 month ago didn't charge me a penny ! . So now once i have my next new vehicle LV will not get my custom neither my partners ! thats 2 customers for the sake of £40 . I would not recommend LV Insurnce
