I bought a new car today and wanted to add it to my policy - phoned kwik fit at 11.23am, they finally called me back at 1.40pm (whilst I was driving so unable to take call)even though I had told them it was urgent as I needed to drive the car back so I could collect my children from school. Had to arrange 1 days insurance on new car with another provider. Tried again to call to arrange insurance at 4.30pm - message said lines were busy so would have to call back another time. Absolute rubbish. I am sure the financial services authority would not endorse these kind of timescales. Kwik fit have in effect left me unable to insure my new car with them. Completely unacceptable. I will never insure with this company again. Even tried to add the car online but as I need it within 24 hours can't even do that.
