Firstly, I know I have given Hastings Direct a 5 star review, but this is based mainly on there customer service and professionalism.
As the title suggests I have never come across customer service as good as theirs. The staff were very professional, freindly and very helpful and having called 3 times for various things related to there new online account system and cancelling my policy (will be further explained),I was supprised that the most I was left on hold was approximately 20 seconds, and only once, and that there initial phone menu was under a minute long.
The only fault with this company is there pricing, for me (18 years old) I have found approximately 15 policies elsewhere at over and around £1,000 less for a new car I intend to buy. Therefore I have chosen to cancel my policy and go elsewhere.
But I will be coming back to Hastings Direct in a few of years when the cost of my insurance comes down to below £500, then I would be willing to pay that bit extra. But at the moment an extra £1,000 seems a little too much despite the quality service they provide!
I would highly recommend this company for those with 3 or more years of driving experience under there belt! (No pun intended!)
