I contacted Hastings when my car was hit by a van- not my fault. The other party's insurance company were difficult to deal with, claiming to have no information and telling me to phone my insurer. After repeating this process a couple of times, (and getting quite frustrated!) the advisor at Hastings (Jade) offered to contact them for me and voila! Everything was sorted. The repairer also collected and dropped off my car so I didn't have to drive to an unfamiliar place to find the garage and then have the expense of a public transport journey home.
Overall I was really impressed with the customer service, and would recommend them.
