The main thing that I can criticise on the website are the entries for convictions and previouis claims. I entered these items a number of times only to find that the website had not picked them up when I went onto the next screen. It took a few attempts to get the website to accept them and I must say that it almost made me log off and find another insurer. Another criticism is that although I did not want to buy the "add ons" to the policy like breakdown cover and legal representation on claims the website made it almost impossible to buy the insurance product without these add ons. I realise that at Hastings you want your customers to buy these extra products but this should be done by making the products attractive to a purchaser by giving them a good deal and not by making it very difficult to buy the product without the add ons.
