Will not give you an NCB even though you paid your money on time every month without fail! Had my windscreen replaced, paid the excess was told at the time NCB is not affected. I have tryed to make a change of vehicle twice while using this joke of a company , both times I have been waiting literally hours to get through ! There customer service is a shambles ! I was on on hold for 3.5 hours on Saturday and still didn't get through by close of business, so now I can't drive my new car for the next 2 days because there none English speaking contact centre is not open on a Sunday . Absolutely disgusting!!!! KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY GOSKIPPY!!! ! What ever you do it's pay this pay that!!! This is the most appalling, useless and ignorant insurance company you could ever meet. Phone calls take 30 minutes at a time for even basis requests, you get passed to staff who do not know what they are talking about, in some cases the wrong department entirely. Staff have no basic knowledge of any aspect of the insurance business, are rude and will lie or fob you off to end the call. Was quoted £587 @ 9am for renewal needed to swap some money around to pay in full i was told I would get a call back at 1230pm to pay by debit card...no phone call back....I waited 7 days..no call...by this time i was looking at my next cheapest quote which was £627 by another company. “GoSkippy Complaint - Eldon Insurance Ltd fishing for dirt”

Anyone experienced having Eldon fish for dirt after making a complaint against GoSkippy? I made a complaint last night as they cancelled mine and my partners joint insurance because we got the date wrong for when his provisional licence started. Goskippy car insurance are dreadful. Eldon insurance as parent company must be just as bad esp if you're getting calls from them.

Goskippy is based in Gibralter and use a call centre in South Africa and nobody knows anything however they get paid to fee your information to sister companies

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have decided next stop is Financial Ombudsman Service and Financial Conduct Authority. Hopefully they will be able to force goskippy to reverse their decision.

GoSkippy did the same thing to me and in the end it cost me almost £800 to rectify and 3 years later it still is not rectified. Good Luck !!

That's dreadful! Is there no investigative body who can put a stop to this? There must be a petition on one of those sites that host them or on the government website by now? Too many people are being penalised with higher premiums as these companies decided to fleece them by cancelling for bogus reasons instead of amending the policy or just voiding it.

Worst customer service. If you want to purchase a new policy, your call will be answered instantaneously but if you are on of their poor customers with a problem, you'd better have plenty o money to pay your phone bill. “STAY WELL AWAY, A WASTE OF TIME”

Stay well away, firstly you can never contact them you will be on hold on average for 20-40 mins, also they charge huge amounts to call them, unfortantly I was involved in a accident which wasn't my fault, they were unhelpful and offered NO assistance, my phone bill was £168 for a month after trying to get into contact with them for 2 weeks I eventually made a complaint last week and was offered £10!! I was completely lied to by Go Skippy when I took out my insurance. They repeated to me 3 times that I would not have to do anything, but stop the direct debit in order to cancel my policy. 7 months later they are charging me for insurance for the entire time I have been living in a different country, with a cancellation fee of £50 on top.
