I recently took out scooter insurance with GoSkippy and like another reviewer on here, was insured for around 1 month before things came undone. I had provided evidence of my Australian drivers license and no claims which at first satisfied their requirements, but later, once their underwriters had checked the no claims, problems began. First they told me they did not recognise overseas no claims, I requested to see this in their policy - no answer there. Next I was told the no claims could not be more than 2 years old, again not shown anywhere.
While they were certainly cheap, there is clearly a reason for this. They are extremely amateurish in how they go about doing business. After a ten minute conversation on what they were going to do to resolve the matter (nothing it turns out) they asked me would I be interested in house or car insurance ????? C'mon.
If this site would let me pick zero stars, I certainly would have.
