Firstly I must start by saying my dealings with Esure customer service on the whole has been good, except today where I was held waiting for nearly 10 mins.
Last year I made a claim as someone had side swiped my car and driven off. Not my fault. My car insurance policy cover virtually doubled from around £350 to £700 per annum.
I have since taken my car abroad and cancelled the policy earlier this year and I was advised by customer service I would be sent a letter explaining whether I owed anything or whether I would get anything back.
Well the first letter I received was from a debt recovery service demanding payment of an outstanding amount of £20 plus to be paid by 1st July. The. Letter was received on the 2nd July!
Don't touch them with a barge pole. You have been warned.
