I had been with Elephant for a number of years simply based on the insurance policy being at priced reasonably, that's until you require their assistance with a claim and their true colours are revealed. To cut a long story short my Volkswagen was hit by a delivery vehicle whilst I was not even in the car in July 2010, and although an independent witness had seen this and we reported this matter to Elephant and had a witness statement in place, they were still unsuccessful. They were rude, I had to keep chasing them for updates, and after almost 18 months they stated that they cannot recoup the cost involved in the claim and therefore have ended the claim. They even had the cheek to say that it is a No Claim Bonus not a No Blame Bonus. In other words they couldn't be bothered and also lacked the know how to see the claim through. Stay well clear of these cow boys!!!
