I purchased insurance online to begin 10 days later but did not know that i had no cover at all to drive other vehicles until emailed details of policy. Most insurance companies provide this cover as standard to over 25s with fully com policies.Contacted customer service and was told i could cancel without incuring cost even taking into account policy was not due to start for another 9 days. Cancelation fee for a policy done online not incuring admin costs and not even started. What happened to consumer right of cooling off period. Website does not have information on this level of cover until payment is taken.
