If you are considering taking out Young drivers Ins with the Co-Op please
be awareof the following.
You pay the initial premium, then depending on your dashboard score, you may
be payed back money on on good safe driving,or be charged more money for poor driving, or stay the same with standard driving.Sounds fine so far, howevever should you for any reason not be driving the car, eg. car of the road for repairs,go away on holiday, stop commuting to and from work,or decide you will use other forms of transport for a time. You will be debited money from your bank for not using car because they say there is no information from SMARTBOX for daily safe driving score.
Surely if you are not driving car and its sitting in garage or drive, there is less risk not greater? we have been charged £50.for doing just that, even though for the past 9months the dashboardscore has been Good or standard.I was always given to believe that the cost of your cover was greater, if you travelled more miles, and used for commuting.
Obviously not with the Co-Op!

That is totally understandable but Coop are mentally unable to see logic.
