I have had the pleasure of having my car insurance renewal dealt with by a chap in your organisation.
I normally dislike phoning a call centre as I never receive the service that I would like or expect. Today I was “looked after” by this gentleman, who I believe is a great asset to your organisation.
I have not called Chaucer before as my dealings have been on line.
He was a joy to work with as
a) he didn’t appear to be reading rapidly from a script (if he was, then that makes what he did even more delightful, as it didn’t sound scripted!) I am a little deaf but not old, so some call centres drive me crazy as I have to ask them to speak slowly and clearly just so that I can understand what is being said
b) he was very sympathetic to the news that my husband was currently in the middle of claiming for an accident where an oil tanker drove into him...not pleasant.
This young chap had the skills to make me feel that he was not just after more money even though his sales skills did make me purchase more cover, which is why he is so great at his job, every body is happy. I wish more companies would employ these types of call handlers. Well done and thank you.
