don't use budget they have expensive add ons

Budget have complicated car insurance beyond belief. They are the worst car insurance company i have ever used. Their admin is chaotic. You can only contact them by phone and are left on hold on 0844 number. They charge extra add on fees for any changes to policy no matter how small, need to read the small print for the amount of add ons there are in total. Do not use them, they are not cheaper they are more expensive in the long run. I cancelled with them today as totally exasperated with their incompetence and extra charges for minor changes and had to pay a £75 exit fee. I thne went with the post office for my insurance only to find that both budget and the post office have exactly the same postal address and am now wondering if they are the same company with different names. Budget have ended up being the most expensive car insurance i have ever taken out even though initially they came up as the cheapest on comparison website. Don't fall for it like i did.
