Very poor

I was involved in a non fault accident, my insurer Shelia wheels refered me to Albany assistance to arrange car hire while my car was off the road for repairs.
Spent over 40 mins repeating the claim details, asked to sign a credit agreement, meaning liability to pay for hire car if they can not reclaim from the 3rd party. Spent 30 mins filling in their forms which told me they were charging £216 per day to supply me with a replacement car. Yes £216 a day, i checked with a national car hire co, to supply the same car £39 per day. Once all the forms were correctly completed I assumed nothing more to do, just wait for the car to be delivered.

Oh no, received a call from Albanys sister company, the car hire side charging £216 a day, informing me they needed a lot more personal info, having seen all the other poor reviews I was unable to give my personal info to an unknown 3rd party with dreadful reviews, so cancelled the agreement and went back to Sheila's wheels to used a different claims company.

All in all a very suspect operation, who claim to get all of their legal advice from Summerset and Devon police, really. stear well clear and make your insurance company handle the claim.
