Appalling. Avoid this company at all costs.

This company makes false representations. They claim to be regulated by the FCA but they are only regulated for admin, not claims handling. So when you try to complain about their atrocious service you won't get anywhere.
This company collected my vehicle that was crashed into outside my house and kept it for 52 days. They have returned it to me with a dent and two electrical faults that they refuse to address. The whole experience has been stressful and exasperating from beginning to end. They never called me about anything. It has taken me to call them and chase them at every stage and I have wasted whole days pursuing them.
Furthermore they repaired my car at a total cost exceeding £11,000 when my vehicle was valued at £7110. Now you all know why your car insurance premiums are so sky high! I even offered to take £6000 at the outset to resolve the matter without any fuss or further inconvenience but they wouldn't.
Albany Assistance are a total bunch of jokers and possibly the worse company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Sadly I felt under pressure when my car was damaged and I feel that I was given poor advice by my insurer. Having never made a claim before I didn't really understand who Albany are and how they work. I strongly advise others to stick with their own insurers or the third party insurer rather than opting for a no-fault claim and going via Albany. Please take my review seriously and STAY AWAY.
