“Complaints to Financial Ombudsman are not hard”

Cover in respect to building and in particular old roofs is very poor. It was not the Weather Bomb, Storm Doris, that caused the loss of tiles but poor maintenance or poor workmanship of regularly maintained roof. Will not be renewing and advise other not to either. Have just filled in my complaint to Ombudsman online. Policy is cheap but mostly not worth the paper it's written on. They did cover some aspect of claim and paid out but not major cost. “DON'T USE THEM”

They are obnoxious and rude and only want to stress you out. I was in a car accident. It was my friends car and ages law was acting for tesco car insurance. They have just taken the cheapest price for solicitors and you do get what you pay for cheat price for rubbish job. They say the camera video as feelings as I can't of hurt myself in that manner. “Woefully incompetent, takes the cheapest way out”

When I was involved in a road traffic collision in which a vehicle pulled out into me, I thought everything would be sorted out, and Ageas would take my corner. Whilst my collision involved me overtaking, I did so in a safe manner in which I see others doing on a daily basis on this stretch of road. I have been with ageas insurance for three years , quote was cheap hence took it . However real trouble started when I had recently accident . A third party hit my while undertaking my car clearly their fault . When I asked them to process my claim they asked my driving license and logbook which i provided . “So bad that they shouldnt be allowed to trade”

My husbands van was stolen before Christmas which has been really traumatic time for him. His van was unfortunately insured with Ageas. Considering that we live in 21st century its beggars belief why nothing can be emailed to them, everything needs to be sent via post. Then “they haven’t received the documents” so you have to send them via recorded delivery-again. All to delay your claim and the outcome. “Worryingly incompetent”

Someone drove into the rear in June 2016. He and his insurers admitted liability immediately. “Rip Off Ageas Insurance”

I purchased insurance for my van which was subsequently stolen in October . “aspestoes damaged goods left with me to dispose of. ”

My mother of 86 had a flood leaving her in a Premier Inn for 3 weeks. The water came through an aspestoes roof. It's been 2 weeks since Poloygon wrote off and advised of a specialist remover. “RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & DOESNT HELP AT ALL”

Ageas is possibly one of the worst insurance companies out there. If i could give this a 0 rating i would. When you talk to them they are very very rude. They do not help you in anyway and try to make you at fault even if your not. Disgusted with this companies attitude and will not recommend them to anyone. Blamed me for a crash that wasn't my fault, as the owner of a Facebook page with nearly 20,000 members, the opinion amongst a huge number of members was I was not at fault, including legal professionals, yet Ageas couldn't be arsed to fight my corner and gave in, probably due to the low value of the claim and the costs associated with disputing it.

Sheer incompetence.

We had a car accident over a year ago which was not our fault. Despite constant phone calls and this being a year later, we have just heard that they have paid out to all the other parties involved without investigating fully. We received no correspondence and they kept referring us to other parties. When I called they said they had closed the case and even though the other party had admitted to smashing into us it was still our fault! Couldn't agree more. I had video evidence of my collision, which showed the other party was at least 80% to blame. This was the opinion of a huge number of members on a Facebook page I run, which has 20,000 members, and legal professionals I shared the footage with.

Ageas refused to fight my corner, and actually acted on behalf of the other party and in their interests. Horrendous company.

Terrible, Terrible company. Have been unhelpful, I have had to do all the chasing up to find out what was going on with my car claim, only to be told they would invalidate my insurance from inception. Un acceptable have made a formal complaint and have also taken it up with the Financial Ombudsman I feel like I have been mugged off and have yet to receive my car back or any premiums paid. “Dodgy, evasive, with the casual attitude of street...”

We had a cracked drain, covered under the policy. We were discouraged from claiming. Then when we did claim, nothing was confirmed in writing. I have purchased policy through Lexham insurance. Ages have accepted the payment and provided with all documentation and then Lexham called me to clarify points for my previous claims. Clarifying all these points are turns outs that ageas don't like now accept me. Even worse - they cannot confirm can I be covered or not - effectively stuck me in the middle of the road!
