They used the wrong address for the policy then sent a letter requesting documents to that wrong address. When I did not respond as required they cancelled the policy and awarded themselves a 50 pound fee for getting the address wrong. “Top Company”

I was unfortunate enough to have a motoring accident which culminated in my small van being written off. Fortunately no one was injured. This company was excellent and the claim was sorted out immediately. My van was recovered, tax disc returned and I was paid out all within 10 days. “Bullying call centre staff put words in your mouth”

Terrible customer service. Bullying manner made me feel like a criminal despite ringing them to inform them of changes of circumstances. Call centre choose to ignore a fact on their own policy document. Horrendous experience speaking to them on the phone. I had taken out home insurance via Age UK and like another reviewer I suggest Age UK change their underwriter to one who does not treat their customers in this way. “Stay well clear, wish I had”

Took out home insurance with Age UK who put me with AGEAS!! they have no e mail address only phone numbers listed. Difficult when you are disabled and cannot use the phone!! I took out legal cover, but when I asked for help was told I was not covered, complained and several weeks later told again, not covered and the file had been closed!! “Absolutely useless, beyond belief”

Terrible 5 months after non fault accident still asking to close my claim so I can get my NCB back, Never any call backs after promises made allways have to chase and in no hurry to do anything or appologise. Spent hours on the phone to these guys who are apperently working for me. Seriously steer clear awful customer service and service fullstop. “Can't be bothered to back up their customers. ”

5 months ago I was taking the first exit off a roundabout. The "lady" in the right hand lane also decided to take the first exit. Without looking she drove into the side of my stopped car. Actually. It was just under 2 months to authorise my repairs. It just felt like longer as I had to call them so many times.

Admittedly now there definitely are solicitors on the case and a manager has called back to address my concerns. Still not happy with the way some of the call centre staff have handled my concerns and that if I didn't chase it up, the solicitors may not have been in pace, but to be fair they've now done as much as they can. Much happier.

I have never claimed on my home insurance I have the full package which does cost more than others having claimed for an accident for a tv I was put through to another company who the took my money for excess sbs insurance then sent a van out when they were available? Took out car insurance with them under the broker CarLine Direct as it seemed like a good price. 4 days later I get a call saying that I input incorrect information, so now the policy has increased by over £120. Told them to cancel it, which now they are charging me £50 for. “Aegas shocking company. very underhanded and are on...”

Having had an accident very recently I Was informed by the sales team of the insurers that Ageas would contact myself regards the accident. I didn t here anything back from them. When I rang the company I gave all of the details of the collision. I totally agree.. I had a collision which was clearly not my fault.. The other party actually admitted liability but my insurers apparently have lost my files several times.. They should be struck off.. What a disgrace they have been.. I haven't had any support from them whatsoever.. Anyone should stay well clear of this joke of a company.. :(

“rude call centre over the top admin charges ”

after having to update my details to my car insurance policy, was told there would be a £10 increase no problem ,then hit me with a £50 admin charge , i challenged this and was told in a very rude manner read the policy details , i ask was this a true cost to the company to update my policy , no reply, only to be told in an even ruder manner read the policy ,you accecpted the policy ,so the money i saved going with them has gone out the window ,wont be renewing with then again ,best to pay… Read Full Review

“Rip off bullies”

Their client went into my car and admitted liability. I bought this car in June from BMW for 6500 after many calls hanging on listening to bad music on an 0845 number, can't get through to anyone. When I eventually get through they condescendingly tell me they will only pay £2400 so from June to November that's a small time with a large loss. “Nasty bullies”

My sister's car was in an accident which happened whilst it was waiting to have a service at a local garage. Although she was not even in the same town when it occurred, she has been bullied and threatened with bailiffs because she has refused to pay the storage costs for her written off motor!! My wife took a policy with carline direct and named me as a driver. This policy is on a Ford Ka and started on 30/09/13 it was the best quote at the time. It was £150 fully comp. (We are in our late 30s and have full licences for 20 years and no claims/convictions + ka is a group 2 insurance) so very cheap wherever you go i.e. Direct line £168. “Excellent customer service and helpful advice-would...”

Helpful staff and excellent managers who were happy to help with whatever advice needed. I would happily recommend them to friends and family. Everyone needs insurance in a time where anything could happen and this company is one i would use every time I travel. I'm also going to look to them for other products they use.
