staff not very competent.given two different quotes,but the first one was a mistake!Also when changing from one vehicle to another i was charged £212 administration costs.I changed my insurance to another company at half the price.Quote:your support is vital in helping people love life later_ chief executive on £180000 pa=£3460 per week.Pensioners on £130 per week.

“new policy set up experience”

just took a car policy with AgeUK researched it on their website then telephoned them to arrange the deal I find this essential as sometimes all is not what you think it is on any website. The lady on the phone was very professional she pointed out some cover details not obvious to me from website. The price was lower than my previous company and 0% interest on direct debit, (one well known company on a search website wanted 44%!!!) IMPORTANT INFORMATION You currently can change your car with NO admin fee! some companies charge £30 Also this cover was cheaper than any other well known company which I researched on two well known research websites

“Outstanding Value”

All my driving life I had stayed with the same insurance company and each year despite understanding the need to seek new quotes, I never did. However, when finding out my young nephew with a classy Audi was paying less than I was for fully comprehensive, I decided to get a quote. My parents are with AgeUK so I tried them first. So....this years's quote from my old insuramce company was just over £600.....whereas AgeUk was just over £200. I'm presently unemployed and this huge savings means a great deal. I'd point out too that the old company used to charge for the monthly DD, not AgeUK. The only reason I paid DD montly previousy was because of the huge premium. In all my years with that compmay 35+ I never once made a claim. I felt totally ripped off by them. I loved the ease of doing the AgeUK application on line as I'm practically deaf and can't use a phone.

“Great quote but poor website”

Age UK had definitely the best quote I found and also includes a good cashback, if I get it. But it was impossible to retrieve the quote. Website would not accept quote reference number. When I ticked the box that said I forgot my quote number (which I hadn't), I was told I would receive an email that would remind me my number. The email never came. (Was not in spam, checked that).When I called Age Uk to ask what the matter was I was passed on to 4 people to who I had to repeat the whole story and who had no clue whatsoever and just wanted to take my money, regardless of the fact I needed to go through the cashback site to get the cashback. In the end I had to go through the whole process of quote three times! in order to finally buy. Not impressed so far. Also I have no idea when my instalments will be taken or when my deposit will be taken. Left in the dark. Strange and unsettling.

Best quote I received for car insurance and considerably lower than renewing with existing insurer. Simple online process -just have all the details of your car etc to hand. Went through topcashback for further discount.

“Difficult website to use”

Difficult website to use, not user friendly at all. Consideration should be given to the fact that persons of a certain age would be attracted to this website for obvious reasons. Had great difficulty entering "Contens Insurance Total", would not accept anything other than the correct form but would not tell user what the correct form was spent at least10 minutes putting in various forms until I hit upon the correct one - very frustrating so not easy to use at all.

Before you sign up with AGE UK for auto or any type of insurance, be sure to check the fine print for any anti-Christian or anti-Christ clauses, such as no images, graphics, or the mention of Christ on your vehicle or home or you might have your insurance policy canceled. For more details on this contact Rev. Wena Parry, from Cymmer in Neath Port Talbot Wales. As to what do graphics or messages about Christ on cars and homes have to do with insurance, you might want to ask the censors over at AGE UK, who apparently have a problem with Christianity and its founder Jesus Christ. Would they cancel a Mohammedan’s car or home insurance if the message was “Praise Be To Allah” or “Allahu Akbar, death to infidels?” So, if you are Christian, beware of the fine print, you could have your insurance policy canceled unexpectedly when making a claim, and you just might lose your head over it.
